BEYOND a BIO | Here is the very personal journey of the man behind the mission.
With no typical higher education accolades to his credit, this native New Yorker and proven business prodigy has embraced his clearly God given gift of “understanding”. After his parents divorced, at age 15, he and one teenage friend relocated to Reno, Nevada where he worked in two Casinos and lived independently.

Mr. Millender does not believe in the concept of being “self-made”. He attributes his success to two things: getting to know Christ at age 18, and having had brilliant success coaches around him. These are the late Rev. Douglas E. Baltimore (Spiritual Father and Life coach) along with Mr. J.B. Mumford, They both get top honors for cultivating the gift of business within him.

Mr. Millender served in the U.S. Army Honor Guard. His unique tenure included top security clearance related assignments, as well as achieving one of the Army’s highest honors by serving as a Sentinel and Assistant Relief Commander at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery. His discipline and attention to detail is contagious.

Mr. Millender entered the business and leadership development field after completing his military career at Ft. Meyer, Virginia. As a result of beginning his family early, his aspirations for Law school were replaced with an insatiable drive to excel in business. After the Army, Mr. Millender established the Reliable Fine Dining Index (Restaurant Guide utilized exclusively by 4 star hotels throughout the Capital Region).
He then became a Partner with Corporate Image Consultants, Inc. Under his leadership, Cause Related Marketing concepts were introduced to The Red Cross, Promise Keepers and other national not for profit agencies.

Currently, as Founder and CEO of outdoor advertisement innovators, Market Share Solutions, Inc., Mr. Millender uses his vast experience in the field of strategic thinking to successfully introduce new technology to the Out of Home Marketing and Billboard Industry.

Micro Enterprise Management Group, LLC: Where Ministry and Business Merge

For a span of eight years, (1997-2005) the call to business was sidelined in order for the God given assignment of serving Nations to be brought to the forefront of his life. The worldwide ministry of Pastor Terry was unveiled.

Pastor Terry has been involved in Christian ministry for more than 24 years. He currently serves as Senior Pastor of Victorious Life Church located in Alexandria, Virginia. His primary calling is to ignite a flame of passion and pure power within the hearts of God’s people. He strongly believes that ministry to a hurting world flows from the strength and faith of those in the pew and not just the pulpit.

As Founder and CEO of Micro-Enterprise Management Group, LLC based in Arlington, VA, Pastor Terry is now privileged to merge his business experience with his ministry.  His day to day business activity is serving the Nations of the earth through economic and technological empowerment.  This is accomplished with the core task of providing spiritual development.

As a recognized community leader, radio show host and gifted prophetic teacher, he is sought after to conduct leadership conferences and trainings nationally and abroad. Additionally, Pastor Terry is the founder of the Washington, D.C.-based Success For Life Initiative, one of the most effective organizations for unearthing potential within at-risk youth and young adults.

He is committed to his family and is happily married to a precious woman of God, Brenda Lee, a/k/a the love of his life. After 25 years of marriage, he still affectionately refers to Brenda Lee as “his girlfriend”. They have five children and three grand children, and currently reside in Springfield, Virginia.

Pastor Millender is often quoted as saying “For me to provide substantial financial resources for the people to whom I am sent to preach the gospel around the world is a script that only God could have written for my life.”
